Vision
Trees are those beings of nature that are our constant companions in day to day life.

In these times of ecological crisis, we need trees around us, in our society, to live a happy and healthy life. Our relationship with trees is not just functional (for shade or aesthetic), but also cultural, emotional and spiritual. Taking inspiration from some cities where citizens believe in eco-centrism, we envision an Ahmedabad where the value of trees is understood by all Amdavadis.

To know the trees, they need to observed, they need to be brought from background to foreground. Hence there is a desperate need to map trees; to raise awareness, study, research, help in designing better urban landscape of Ahmedabad and identify the most important ones that need to be protected. Then one day we hope, Amdavad will become a truly ecologically conscious city.
